FULLY BOOKED (12/07) - Update - Hello everyone, thank you so much for your interest in this trip to Dorchester Cathedral in September. We regret to inform you that all of the seats are now fully booked for our coach! Thanks to all who signed up! We hope you have a great time! 🙌The St Neot’s group will be heading off on our third pilgrimage on the Wednesday 17th September 2025 between 10:00pm and 4pm at the Dorchester Church of the Holy Trinity which is one of the holy doors for our Diocese during the Jubilee year. We will have an opportunity to learn more about the Chiddeok Martyrs.
Please Note: We need at least 35 people to book the coach for all in our parish who want to come, at a cost of £20 per head, otherwise car sharing will need to be arranged by your own church if you wish to visit along with us. Please contact [email protected] to book your place or for more information.
This year the group have agreed to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope, we will be visiting the Holy Doors in the Diocese and to learn more and reflect on the six themes for the year, using resources provided by Caritas Plymouth. This will be a time to re-establish a proper relationship with God, with one another and with all creation.
Pilgrim passports can be collected and stamped at each Holy Doors. Open to all four churches in our Parish (Liskeard, Saltash, Torpoint and Sclerder Abbey (Looe). Each church will be arranging car sharing and meeting at venues. So please speak to someone in your church about specific requirements or you can contact Mary Haslam at: [email protected]
