Lenten Mission at St. Michael’s Church“Surrender Is a Beautiful Word”
with Catholic author & speaker Roxane B. Salonen
St. Michael’s Church in Grand Forks is honored to welcome Roxane B. Salonen for a three-evening Lenten Mission exploring the beauty and freedom found in surrendering our lives to God.
Through Scripture, the lives of the saints, and personal testimony, Roxane will guide participants on a journey toward deeper trust in the Father’s love and renewed faith this Lent.
✨ Mission Schedule (All sessions begin at 7:00 PM):
📅 Sunday, March 22 — Surrender Like the Saints: Models of Surrender
Discover how the saints show us what it means to entrust everything to God.
A soup supper will follow the 5:00 PM Mass before the opening mission talk.
📅 Monday, March 23 — Journey to the Father’s Heart: Learning Surrender
A personal and moving reflection on learning surrender through life’s joys and trials.
📅 Tuesday, March 24 — The Mary Magdalene Within: Embracing Surrender
Encounter the healing love of Christ and the transformation that comes through wholehearted surrender.
Roxane B. Salonen is a Catholic writer and speaker, co-author of What Would Monica Do? Finding Flannery, and author of the children’s book The Twelve Days of Christmas in North Dakota.
All are invited to renew their hearts this Lent through prayer, reflection, and fellowship.
