WHAT: The Academy is turned into a Christmas wonderland, featuring a Festival of Trees, a gourmet cafe, and a one-of-a-kind Christmas Shoppe with over 50 local vendors selling unique items!
WHEN:
- Friday, November 8, 2024 - 10 am - 7 pm (Cafe closes at 4 pm)
- Saturday, November 9, 2024 - 10 am - 5 pm
WHERE: St. James Academy (SJA) | 3100 Monkton Road, Monkton, MD 21111
COST: Tickets for entry to Christmas Shoppe are $5 at the door for adults. All proceeds benefit the students, teachers and staff of the Academy.

SHOPPING - A one-of-a-kind Christmas shop with over 50 local vendors selling unique gifts, boutique apparel, beautiful jewelry, original artwork, kids’ toys, soy candles, goat milk soaps, silk scarves, gourmet granola, artisan cheeses, confections and much, much more - all from small, local businesses! Sponsored by our Presenting Sponsor, Bill Kidd’s Toyota.
FOOD - Take a break from shopping and visit our pop up gourmet cafe featuring crab cakes, shrimp salad, chicken salad and tenderloin sandwiches, delicious soups and salads as well as kid friendly options catered on site by Casa Mia’s of Parkton, MD, a St. James Academy family owned business.
WINE & BEER - Sip a glass of wine or beer from our specially designed offerings selected by our community partners, Troyer’s Liquors of Parkton, MD and Inverness Brewing.
CROWD & AMBIENCE - A strong sense of community and pride in St. James Academy is evident when the doors of the Academy open to our families, friends, and to the public. Come wearing casual, festive attire and enjoy the Christmas music being piped throughout the Academy to get you into the holiday spirit!
A FESTIVAL OF TREES – Stroll through the Fir the Love of Hounds: A Festival of Trees created by Academy students in Pre-K through 8th Grade and place a silent auction bid if you wish.
A WONDERFUL CAUSE - The St. James Academy Christmas Shoppe & Cafe is the Parents’ Association’s largest fundraiser of the year! All proceeds will benefit students and teachers of the Academy.
