We are exceedingly pleased to formally announce St. Crispian’s Soirée—a celebration of The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by the undaunted and altogether delightful Beth Brower.Step briskly into St. Crispian’s and prepare yourself for an evening of elegance, mischief, and marvels in equal measure.
Proceedings shall begin with a Prompt Grand Arrival. Followed by a pleasing assortment of Amusements, including ink and quills for those with thoughts, morning robes for those without, and Agnes’s excellent confectionery creations, renowned for improving spirits.
Your visit includes generous access to gardens, shops, and a formal house tour of Chateau de Vie. Bind books, splash watercolours, or join in the most scandalous conjectures regarding marriage prospects.
Dress: Be fetching. Be enchanting. Spring frocks, Real Duck Material, or morning robes are all warmly approved. Wear what delights you, confounds others, and makes you feel comfortable in the spring weather.

Ages 12 and up only, except infants in arms are most welcome to join the fray. That said, we must insist upon a strict ban on perambulators and strollers.
Regrettably, we cannot accommodate allergies or specific dietary restrictions.
Parking is at a premium, and we should hate for the driveway to resemble a London traffic jam. Carpooling is strongly recommended. Indeed, if we find ourselves with fewer carriages than anticipated, we may be able to squeeze in a few more kindred spirits from the waiting list!
When the boring have fled Arizona, let us make merry. Leave all non-existent chaperones at home, along with restraint, common sense, and any intention of leaving early!
