We would love to welcome you to our in-person monthly support group in St Albans!
We are also pleased to have our Lending SPACE team coming with lots of equipment ready to borrow!
Our support group is open to all parents/carers/families who are raising children and young people with neurodiverse conditions including autism and ADHD.
Your child/young person does not need a diagnosis in order for you to access our groups, and the support group is FREE to attend.
Booking is not essential but if you do book a place via Eventbrite it helps us to anticipate numbers.
SPACE staff, Mel and Suzie will be ready and waiting to welcome you and are joined by Karen and Patty to talk about the Short break local offer (SBLO) Karen will talk us through an informal workshop to explain a bit more about Hertfordshire’s Short Break Local Offer (SBLO), how to apply for it, how to use it, and some information about SPACE’s specific SBLO offer.
We are a friendly, knowledgeable and supportive team, and the SPACE staff are all SEN parents ourselves, so we really do understand the high's and lows of raising children with neuro-developmental differences.
Teas, coffees and biscuits are all provided!
