Whitney Ross-Barris (with pianist Adrean Faruggia)
Whitney Ross-Barris is an Ontario-based jazz singer, pianist and songwriter with proud roots in the theatre. With a velvet voice and a sharp wit, her songs as well as her live performances are an inviting and unexpectedly immersive experience of off-the-cuff storytelling and exciting musicianship.
Her latest release, "Curtains of Light," is a genre-bending record of original music rooted in jazz but woven through with threads of soul, spoken word, classical, folk, and choral music.
