No organized battle/competition, just jamming, exchanging and crazy good vibes with some real good music! Let’s make this a MEMORABLE EVENT.
SSOs and MUDs ongoing party collaborations have led to celebrated nights for the past 5+ years, and have a clear aim of bringing people of all walks together, while lifting spirits high. And this year marks our third collaboration related to SSOs Encounters festival. As always, at SSO and MUD we’re committed to highlight top-tier artistry through our bookings, to shake one’s mind, body and soul on the dance floor. While predominantly celebrating Black and Latinx music genres and their heritage. And with the underground club institution Jaeger in the mix, all we can say is: great times soon come.
Last year Boddhi Satva delivered a very special DJ-set as he graced House Night 2025 with his dope selection of music. We intend to build upon last year's success and elevate that experience at Encounters afterparty 2026. This year we invite an artist that has been celebrated in various MUD Session DJ-sets over the past 5+ years, and an artist that has been high on our booking wishlist. An established multidisciplinary artist on the rise to greatness, and one which resonates deeply with us in terms of his musical output. With love and admiration, we give a warm welcome to COFLO.

Coflo:
Brings a dancer’s soul to the heart of house music. A lifelong practitioner of American house dance and the Afro-Brazilian martial art capoeira, he channels music, with rhythm, movement, and embodied energy of these traditions. Raised in the vibrant Bay Area house scene, Coflo is deeply committed to honoring the culture and community that shaped him, while continuing to push the boundaries of club music.
Since joining Ocha Records in 2018 as Head of A&R and Label Manager, Coflo has become a cornerstone of the label, releasing sought-after originals and remixes embraced by DJs and collectors worldwide. His breakout track “Stress Relief (Don’t f*** with me right now),” remixed by Osunlade, marked the beginning of an evolving partnership with Yoruba Records. By 2021, he solidified his place on the Yoruba roster with the soulful collaboration “Soul 2 Souls” alongside SACRED H3ART. Momentum continued in 2022 with “Peanut Butter Lover,” a playful club anthem supported by Anané, Osunlade, and Louie Vega. In 2023, Coflo reached new heights remixing Ron Trent’s “Black Magic Woman” for Sacred Medicine. His remix work continued to dominate in 2024 with his remix of Louie Vega’s “How He Works,” which held the #1 spot on Traxsource for over four consecutive weeks.
2024 also marked a defining year, with international performances across more than 20 cities, the release of his acclaimed Tsunami’s Muse EP on Sacred Medicine, and the launch of his Rawb Boss alias on Yoruba Records. That same year, “If It Goes” sold out on Sweden’s Cataleya Music, earning recognition as a future classic. With a decade of releases on labels such as T’s Box, Local Talk, and Atjazz Record Company, Coflo remains a studio innovator and a dynamic force behind the decks. His sound bridges dance floor history with future.

Lastly the night wouldn't be complete without MUD Session. Come and celebrate movement with us at MUDs House Exchange concept early evening in Jaeger’s Basement.
----------
MUD Session - House Exchange:
Yes, we are back with a special edition of our House Exchange concept, meaning: NO COMPETITION and NO BATTLE. Simply put, we invite you to exchange movements and energies in true club spirit within a cypher (circle) format. Participants sign-up at the door, first come first serve principle so don’t be late! Couples are paired up randomly, where they exchange to a track within 5 minutes, and dope house music is served by our residents DJ Ghar, DJ Niwin, and on this occasion COFLO as our special guest of honor. On Host\MC duties we have MUDs very own founder: Chriz, setting the right mood and atmosphere for the evening.
In short: good times and great vibes await. While this initiative's aim is to uplift the local House Dance community, all movement lovers, styles and practices are welcome to join in. We serve an open space where dancers can exchange, release, and express a diverse selection of House oriented music. Not ready for the Exchange and just want to jam? Not to worry, as jam sessions are an essential and inclusive part of our concept.

MUD stands for Movement Undefined and started as an open ‘House session’ for movers across different backgrounds. MUD Session concept was born in New York and created by the female House dance crew MAWU back in 2009, and later brought to Norway, Oslo in 2015. Since then, MUD has been a common meeting ground where we share our spirit and love for House music, House dance and club culture. The concept mainly has its roots in house, disco, funk and boogie music genres, and aims to recreate the atmosphere that has existed in various clubs and underground scene in New York since the early 1980s.
