About this Event
Join us for a relaxed and hands-on 3 hour Sri Lankan cookery workshop, inspired by the vibrant small plates and home-style dishes enjoyed across Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan cuisine is all about bold spices, fresh ingredients, and deeply comforting flavours. In this Saturday afternoon class, we’ll cook together in our modern, spacious kitchen, learning practical techniques and traditional flavour combinations that are easy to recreate at home.
You’ll be guided step by step by a professional tutor, with plenty of time to cook, ask questions, and enjoy the process. At the end of the session, you’ll take home a generous selection of dishes to share.
Example Menu
- Jaffna chicken
- Kaha bath (Sri Lankan fried rice)
- Ala kiri hodi (potatoes in coconut milk gravy)
- Kale mallum (spiced greens with coconut)
- Carrot sambal
- Pol roti (coconut flatbread)
Menu may vary slightly depending on dietary requirements and ingredient availability.
