Berra Bars is the dedicated, weekly gathering for our city's hip-hop community, held every Thursday night at Squeaky Clean. This event is entirely focused on the craft, providing a consistent space where local MCs and DJs meet to share their current work, refine their sound, and simply connect through the music. It’s an authentic, low-key setting for artists to express themselves and for upcoming artists to join and participate in the Canberra Hip Hop community.

THE RESERVE SKANK OF AUSTRALIA - 6pm-6:45pm
The Reserve Skank of Australia is undoubtedly Canberra’s finest ska-reggae-rocksteady band (under 40s division), bringing a new wave of reggae appreciation and all-around generalised I-and-Iration to the riddim-starved capital of this Babylonian nation. The RSA is inspired by Gregory Isaacs, Peter Tosh and Eek-A-Mouse to create uplifting rootsman rocking riddims, fuelled by a dynamic 6 to 12 piece band. Brass swells, swinging bass, rhythmic guitar and bombastic vocals: Yes I-yah!

DOXXED - 7pm-7:45pm
Doxxed, formed in 2024, are the elder statesmen of the Australian Ska Punk scene, with members who have been playing since the 80s and 90s. Forming through an amalgamation of bands that tried to get going but hit too many roadblocks during the Covid years, Doxxed settled their line up last year and are now hitting the streets. Doxxed love playing a variety of originals, skapunk classics as well as taking bad songs and making them worse.

Bringing their own brand of cybernetic gang warfare Night City Psychos crush the stage with no nonsense punk, hardcore and preem crack rock steady ska. Come join them in their revolt against the corpos!

Degenerate is an alternative punk band that emerged in 2022,
known for their raw, chaotic-yet-emotional sound. Formed in a
backyard tin shed, they mix gritty Aussie energy with 90s punk
and alt-rock influences, drawing comparisons to Blink-182, Dune
Rats, Foo Fighters, and Sum 41. The four-piece built their
reputation through high-energy underground shows and
anthemic, everyone-on-the-mic presence.
