Squale Pop-Up Museum Launch & Community Evening With CW Watch Shop

Join CW Watch Shop and Squale for the launch of the Squale Pop-Up Museum at Camera West's Union Square flagship on Maiden Lane — followed by a special presentation for Bay Area watch enthusiasts.

The Squale Pop-Up Museum

For the month of May, Camera West San Francisco becomes home to the Squale Pop-Up Museum, a curated display of vintage Squale references, historical timepieces, and modern icons that traces the brand's journey from 1946 case maker to one of the world's most respected independent dive watch manufacturers. From early Von Büren cases to the iconic 1521 collection, this is a rare opportunity to see Squale's legacy in one place.

The Evening

The launch event will include a special presentation by Squale covering the brand's heritage, current collection, followed by open time to explore the museum, handle the latest novelties, and connect with fellow Bay Area watch enthusiasts and the CW Watch Shop team. Light refreshments will be served.

Evening Program

6:00 PM — Doors Open & Museum Preview Arrive, explore the Squale Pop-Up Museum, and handle the current collection including the newly launched Sub-37 Legend.

6:30 PM — Welcome & Introductions The CW Watch Shop and Camera West team welcome guests and introduce the evening.

6:45 PM — Special Presentation by Squale on Squale's heritage, the story behind the 1521 and Sub-37, and the brand's vision, followed by Q&A.

7:30 PM — Open Floor & Community Time Handle watches, explore the museum, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and speak one-on-one with the Squale team and CW Watch Shop staff.

8:00 PM — Event Closes The museum remains open daily throughout May during store hours.
