Using their diverse musical backgrounds and tastes, Spunj sets to make their live shows not just a musical performance, but an experience. The band incorporates classic songwriting with sections of improvisation to seamlessly weave from genre to genre while keeping the energy high and always danceable. Since 2019, the band has toured the Pacific Northwest relentlessly growing from playing bars and college parties to playing established and espectable venues and festivals and opening for major jam acts such as Cycles, Universe Peoples, Dubtonic Kru and Twiddle. The quartet has also released a full length studio album that is available on all major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Itunes and Bandcamp. Spunj plans to tour heavily in the Pacific Northwest with intentions to break out further into the United States.
Spunj is a high-energy fusion four piece that tailors each live show to be a truly unique experience,not just a musical performance. Incorporating goofy antics and a high level of audience participation, Spunj continues to cultivate a dedicated fan base that will travel long distances to see the band perform multiple nights in a row, collecting stamps on their ‘Spunj show punch cards’ (available for free at the merch booth!) and chasing songs they didn’t get to hear atthe last performance.
In just five short years, Spunj has shown exponential growth and tenacity from playing shows all along the West Coast to beginning National circuit with their Spring 2024 tour. The Band continues to expand their reach in hopes togrow their audience more and more each year and conquer more geographical territory as quickly as possible.

Space Goat is an electrifying funk band hailing from Berkeley, California. Known for their unique blend of virtuosic improvisation, danceable funk grooves, and infectious sing-alongs; these goats free your mind and get your booty to follow. Their mesmerizing performances have earned them a dedicated following throughout the Bay, and they could not be more excited to return to play at Boom Boom Room with SPUNJ on Oct 12th!
