Edinburgh Parkour Takeover

Take on challenges across Edinburgh and try and complete as many of them as possible within 4 hours. There are a mixture of challenges with varied difficulty levels that test a wide range of different skills. This means the competition is suitable for all types of practitioner from beginners through to experts.

The takeover format is a great way to try out new movements, test your skills and hang out with the Scottish parkour community.

SPTL

The Scottish Parkour Takeover League is a series of competitions run across the year. At each competition participants will get points towards their overall league score based on their placement in that competition. At the end of the league overall winners will be crowned.

The SPTL league is split into two divisions: Womens{+} and Open.

(You will be automatically enrolled in the open division and can additionally choose to opt into the Womens{+} division if you like.)

Please note that during this event, participants are expected to navigate between locations and complete challenges of their own accord (without any additional guidance from the hosts of the event). Participants are expected to assess the risk of each challenge carefully before attempting the challenge. By taking part in this event all participants (or their parents/guardians, if applicable) accept responsibility and liability for any injuries that the participant sustains, damages to public property that the participant causes, harm to any other members of the general public that the participant causes or any loss of the participants personal property.

11.25 - 11.30 AM: Competition rules and information briefing

11.30AM: Competition starts!

4.30PM: Competition finishes and challenge submission deadline

4.30 - 5.00PM: Return to The Scottish Parliament Building

5.00 - 5.30PM: Results and medal presentation
