About this Event
This workshop introduces participants to a youth-led Amazing Race experience at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, where they will complete interactive challenges and solve clues in teams. Participants are encouraged to communicate, think critically, and support one another as they navigate through each station. Through engaging in outdoor activities and spending time in nature, they are guided to unwind, recharge, and build meaningful connections with peers, friends, and family. This activity highlights how active play and nature-based experiences can reduce stress, promote teamwork, and support overall mental well-being.
This course allows participants to:
1. Work together in teams to solve challenges and complete tasks around the Singapore Botanic Gardens
2. Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills through fun and interactive activities
3. Build communication and teamwork skills while racing and collaborating with others
4. Explore nature and experience how nature can help them relax, recharge, and support their mental well-being
5. Build friendships and create positive, stress-relieving experiences with peers and loved ones
Please bring a day pack containing:
1. Water Bottle
2. Insect Repellent
3. Sunscreen
4. Medic*tion as needed
5. Umbrella
Do be equipped with covered, comfortable footwear, and a hat if needed.

Trainer's Bio:
Melanie, Chia Shiuen, Sophia, Janelle, Kayern, and Jadalynn are student facilitators from CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School and members of Project Starlight. Driven by a shared passion for youth mental well-being, they create safe, engaging spaces where teens can connect, express themselves, and recharge through creativity, communication, and meaningful peer support.
