Appalachian Folk medicine considers spring time as a time to cleanse and detoxify our bodies after a long sluggish winter of little movement and not as fresh a diet. In this class, we will explore the herbs used in "Spring Tonic" teas and explore other ways to detox our bodies with baths, foot soaks, and flowery herb steam facials. Participants will each make a custom bottle of "Spring Tonic Vinegar" using herbs and roots discussed in class to take home. All supplies are included. Fee: $25.00. Instructor: Susanna Reppert Brill.
