About this Event
Spend a spring afternoon exploring the Bacombe Hill Nature Reserve with naturalist Steve Thompson and warden Paul Niddler. Enjoy spotting a wide variety of spring wildlife, with a backdrop of some fantastic views. We will be walking at a fairly slow pace with frequent stops, and this walk is suitable for anyone with reasonable mobility.
However, there are some steep uphill and downhill sections, with steps and rough ground which may be slippery. Stout footwear is essential, along with suitable clothing for the weather forecast, and it’s not suitable for buggies or pushchairs.
We hope you’ll be able to join us - don’t forget to bring your binoculars and camera!
Due to difficulties in parking created by the HS2 works, the walk into the Bacombe Hill reserve will begin from the car park at the top of Coombe Hill.
