Our April screening is the biopic, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere which chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.Alongside the film we will have 25% off Savage’s Fish and Chip Specials using a voucher available from us on the night or you can show your online or Post Office ticket to Savage’s.
The bar area will be available from 6pm with tables and chairs so that people can enjoy their fish and chips before the film. The Town Hall bar will be open and we will also be serving refreshments (hot and cold drinks and snacks) before the screening and during an interval.
Refreshments and the Town Hall Bar will be available from 6.30pm, with the screening starting at 7.30pm.
