Experience a fresh perspective on animal photography this spring at the Minnesota Zoo. This three-part workshop is designed for photographers of all levels, combining educational guidance, hands-on shooting, and expert feedback to help you capture compelling images and elevate your photography.• • • • • • • • • • • •
• WORKSHOP OVERVIEW •
In the first portion of our workshop, we'll have met online for a presentation covering lens selection, composition tips, how to overcome fences, glass, and more.
This second part of our workshop takes us in person to the Minnesota Zoo on Saturday. During this hands-on portion of the workshop, you will put what you learned from the online seminar into practice! NCE staff will guide the group throughout the day to answer any questions you have and help with camera settings and composition as needed.
We will have a designated check-in time and meet-up location in the morning, where you will receive your admission tickets on the day of the live event. Parking and admission fees are included in the registration fee.
Lastly, for the third part of the workshop, we'll sort through our photos from the zoo and wrap things up in our Online Image Review on Thursday, May 21st.

Registration Fee: $80
Registration for this three-part workshop closes on Wednesday, May 13th at 4pm and tickets are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early! Participants will be emailed full event details and the link to the online seminar on Wednesday, May 13th around 5pm.
