About this Event
Spring Steam Ceremony is a sacred community gathering devoted to the ancestral tradition of “bajos” — also known as yoni steaming — a practice used across cultures to invite purification, restoration, and reconnection with the body. Together, we will create a space of collective care where women and womb-carrying people are invited to slow down, soften, and receive.
This ceremony will include teachings and altar offerings dedicated to Tlazoteotl, the Mexica goddess of purification, midwifery, healing, and sacred renewal, who is traditionally associated with steam baths and spiritual cleansing. In her presence, we gather to release what is heavy and welcome clarity, warmth, and renewal into our bodies and spirits.
Participants will also learn how to incorporate bajos as an accessible at-home ritual using minimal equipment, empowering ongoing self-care rooted in ancestral wisdom.
