About this Event
Early spring foraging walk.
***This event will be held on a trail in the Santa Fe area. Please register for exact location info.
During this walk we will introduce you to plant identification through families, mushroom identification, foraging tips, safety and wild harvesting ethics. We will find common edible and medicinal plants native to this region that are prevalent throughout the mountain west. We will also share information about nutrition, herbalism, mushrooms and wild water. Class will be followed with a wild snack!
We recommend bringing a day pack with your lunch and water, note pad and pen, and a camera.
Please come prepared for variable weather!
