Spring Weeding at Epiphany Pond Park

Join us on Tuesday, June 9th from 9:00-11:00AM as we pull weeds from the newly established pollinator habitat. This event will be held on-site at Epiphany Pond Park, located at 1475 106th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433.

The program is free, but registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone. Volunteer work will involve bending, kneeling, and digging. In case of bad weather, this event may be postponed. All registered volunteers will be informed in advance and an alternative date and time will be provided through email.

Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, insect repellent, and gardening gloves (ACD has some gloves for volunteers, but it is encouraged to bring your own). We recommend wearing close-toed shoes or hiking boots to protect yourself from tools and dirt.

There is no formal parking lot at Epiphany Pond Park. Please park on the street around the park entrance on 106th Ave NW, and follow the paved path towards the park pavilion.
