PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE TO AVOID MAUNDY THURSDAY Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert - usually - on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: a themed 45-minute concert of mainly classical music, introduced by the performers. There is a pop-up café open from 12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
Trio Paradis Cafe Concerts are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to keep live music affordable for everyone.
Our spring programme features music inspired by the natural beauty of spring and
includes ‘D’un matin de printemps’ by Lili Boulanger, Grieg ‘Spring’, ‘Il pleut’ by Mel Bonis, and Rachmaninov ‘Spring Waters’.
An RSVP via our website is appreciated, but you can just turn up - maybe bring a cushion for the pew. Christ Church can be a bit chilly so please dress warmly. As of 2026 there are now blankets provided!
