Join me for a spring tonic herbal workshop at the beautiful Lea Gardens, where together we will connect with the plants that support our health and well-being as we transition from winter into spring.During this workshop you will be introduced to the medicinal plants you can find growing at this time of year. You will learn how to safely identify and sustainably forage the plants plus more about their historical and modern day uses.
This is an interactive workshop where you will discover how to make, and get to sample, a wide variety of herbal remedies; such as vinegars, tinctures, juices, infusions, syrups, cordials, ferments, snacks and cake and make your very own Spring Tonics to take home with you - think of it like a big herbal picnic!
I am hoping that we will be able to do all of our activities outside in the garden so please dress well with appropriate footwear. We will be walking on uneven ground and sitting on the grass so bear this in mind when booking. You may wish too bring a cushion or camping chair, if you prefer.
There will be the opportunity to explore the gardens at the end of the workshop and purchase plants from the nursery, if you wish.
