Spring Sunrise Pen Y Fan 2026 is a spectacular fundraising event that will bring people together to celebrate new beginnings while supporting dogs in need. Taking place on the Spring Equinox weekend, it’s the perfect way to welcome longer days, brighter mornings, and the changing of the seasons with a sunrise hike to the summit of Pen y Fan. As dawn breaks over the Brecon Beacons, participants will experience an unforgettable moment while helping to change the lives of vulnerable dogs across South Wales.

Meeting time: 4:00am
This walk will start before daylight so we encourage walkers to come prepared, wear plenty of layers and bring a head torches (with back up batteries). We will have volunteers on hand to make sure our group all set off, summit and return safely.
Registration is £10 and we are asking walkers to raise £100 towards our fundraising efforts for 2026. All walkers will receive a free Hope Rescue branded snood to wear on the day. And the first 50 people to raise £100 will get a special addition Hope Rescue beanie hat.
Children are welcome and walk for free, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult at ALL times.
All dogs are most definitely welcome and we ask that dogs remain ON leads for the duration of this adventure. Please also consider his visibility wear for your dog for this event.
