All ages welcome to this fun family event ✨ Mark your calendar! What does belonging look like through the eyes of a child?
Join the Family Action Network for a free, two-in-one Spring Showcase & Connect Hub on May 30th from 10 AM–1 PM at the Trail Cominco Arena Gymnasium.
Celebrate local youth who, over the past few months, have created a meaningful puzzle-piece map reflecting what connects them to their community and what they would like to see change. Through the Storytelling and Map-Making Project, youth ages 9–13 explored belonging through art, photography, and conversation.
You’ll also be introduced to FAN’s new Community Connections Pop-Up Hubs free regional events for children ages 7–12 and their families. Enjoy games, activities, mentors, and supports that help kids build confidence, make friends, and feel like they belong.
