If you’ve had the desire to make things with your hands, you love recycling and have wanted to start scrapbooking AND you’re interested in building meaningful friendships, we’ve cooked up something special for you.
Introducing our Spring Residency: An archival scrapbook workshop series.
Over the course of three sessions, residents will delve into the art of scrapbooking, from crafting their own paper from recycled materials, to binding their personalized books and curating them with cherished memories and intention.
Week 1: Paper Making 101
Date & Time: May 04 10:30am-2:30pm
We will learn the intricate and cathartic process of transforming raw materials into beautiful, handmade paper. From selecting fibers to mastering techniques we will craft the foundation for their unique scrapbooks.
Week 2: Book Binding
Date & Time: May 11th 10:30am-2:30pm
Building upon the foundation laid in the first workshop, we will explore methods of book binding. By the end of this session, we will have constructed our very own blank scrapbook.
Week 3: Scrapbooking
Date & Time: May 18th 10:30am-2:30pm
In the final installment of our residency, we will move through a guided and intentional scrapbook and journaling practice.
Coffee, tea and light nourishment will be provided.
Residents also get free access to our Co-Create Cafes on Wednesdays.
The cost for this series covers all three sessions and helps us offset the cost of our space, materials and nourishment.
Not one of our workshops is promised to be the same. Each salon is made up of the energy, life experiences and personality of the guests in attendance.
When contemplating participation in a Between Us gathering, we kindly request that you engage in thoughtful reflection regarding your resonance with the themes at hand and the energy you aspire to cultivate within the space. We encourage you to come alone and come vulnerable.

Between Us is an event series with a goal to provide an intimate third space for humans to gather and inspire deeper connection in our community. Tired of the bar scene in Toronto, we wanted to usher in a new era of 'going out' where making like-minded friendships and feeling good about yourself is the norm. Every salon this year will be a new opportunity to explore a new side of you within an intimate group of 16-20.
