We're thrilled to share the exciting news of our upcoming retreat, "Spring Renewal Retreat: Embracing Change and New Life," from May 17 to 19, 2024! Registration is now open, RSVPing on Facebook will not secure you a spot! See the link below to register.During this retreat, we'll delve into the profound teachings of impermanence, interbeing, and beginning anew, offering opportunities to rejuvenate our connections with ourselves, our loved ones, and the world around us. Just like the emergence of spring buds from the transformation of old leaves, our lives can flourish with renewed potential as we lovingly let go of past wounds and habits.
Nestled within the serene meditation gardens and forest sanctuary of Greatwoods Zen, our retreat will be a haven for mindfulness practices such as sitting and walking meditation, mindful eating, circle sharing, and deep relaxation, all amidst the embrace of Mother Nature's beauty.
And as usual, our head chef artiste for the retreat will be Jessie Raye. (Many can attest that mindful eating takes on new dimensions in their kitchen!)
Great news! We're offering an early bird special. Register by April 27 to enjoy a $50 discount on twin or full-size bed accommodations.
We are limiting our registration to 15 participants. Our last weekend retreat sold out and we hope this one will also. Registration is now open on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay!
To register, visit GreatwoodsZen.org/retreats.
ATTENTION: Again, simply RSVPing on Facebook, will not reserve a spot for you, you must register with the link just posted to officially register.
Scholarship Fund
At Greatwoods Zen, we hold a vision close to our hearts: that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, should have the opportunity to experience the solace of community and the nourishment of mindfulness retreats. These spaces offer not just peace, but also the warmth of kindred spirits, insightful teachings, and the supportive embrace needed to foster healing and growth in our lives.
Since the beginning of Greatwoods Zen and continuing throughout this year, we've made it a priority to ensure that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, can find a welcoming space within our community. This commitment is upheld by our dedicated staff, who eagerly volunteer their time to ensure that our programs remain accessible to all who seek them.
As our past scholarship fund has been exhausted, we're turning to our larger community for support. By contributing to our scholarship fund for upcoming retreats, you'll help ensure that individuals facing financial barriers can still partake in the transformative experiences we offer. Your generosity will enable them to access the healing and joy they need to flourish in their lives.
It's worth noting that many of our scholarship recipients only require partial support. A contribution as modest as $10 or $20 can make a significant difference, while gifts of $50 or $100 can bridge the gap entirely, allowing someone to attend a retreat they might otherwise miss out on.
We humbly and wholeheartedly ask for your support in nurturing our scholarship fund.
Together, let's ensure that these retreats remain a beacon of hope and possibility for all who seek them.
