The workshop will guide participants through a step-by-step landscape process, enriched with a demonstration by Prof. Yan Sun, using acrylic colors. With special emphasis on exploring the profound emotional impact of color and light, Prof. Sun will provide invaluable insights into composition, color contrast and harmony, texture, depth, and the expression of ideas. You can choose to work with a pre-selected photo reference or use your own.The workshop is open to all skill levels, and we provide the supplies you'll need, including an 11”x14” canvas and a palette; acrylic colors and brushes; as well as a brush washing container and paper towels.
Location: 604 Main Street, Zanesville, OH.
Time: Saturday, April 19, 2025, 1:00pm–4:00pm. (Fee is due on April 5, 2025.)
Fee: $35 per participant. The fee is non-refundable but transferable to your friend or family if you can’t attend.
