Spring on the Mountain: A Two-Concert Celebration of Music and Collaboration. Concert 1 Southern Sky

The first concert, Southern Skies, takes place on Thursday 21 August at 7pm and promises an evening of soaring soundscapes and virtuosic artistry. In this one-hour performance, the Orchestra is joined by the renowned Southern Cross Soloists and special guests Maggie Blades (violin), Ashley Smith (clarinet), and Tim Munro (flute).
Audiences will be enchanted as Maggie Blake performs Vivaldi’s Spring from The Four Seasons, a lively and beloved work that brings the season to life. Ashley Smith will shine in the lyrical second movement of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, a piece known for its beauty and emotional depth.
