Join the Providence Art Club on Sunday, March 8 from 2-4pm for the opening reception and awards ceremony to kick off the Club's Spring Members' Exhibition. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and artists will be on hand to discuss their work.The show will feature over 150 artworks in a wide range of media by local artists spread across three unique gallery spaces. Works on view will be by Exhibiting Artist Members of the Art Club and $5,000 in prizes will be selected by Paul Michael, MFA, Gallery Director and Curator of the Lyme Art Association.
Awards will be announced at 2:45pm in Maxwell Mays Gallery.
The Providence Art Club is located at 11 Thomas Street in the heart of historic College Hill. Ample street parking is available nearby along Benefit Street and North Main Street and the Club is a five minute walk from both the Providence Amtrak Station and the Kennedy Plaza Bus Terminal.
