Join the Lifted staff for 108 Sun Salutations - Lets gather for 108 Sun Salutations to set intentions and welcome in Spring! This is an invigorating physical practice that yogis have done for 100's of years to let go of the past and embrace the future! 🫶🏻🕉
The Spring 🌷 Equinox is a magical time when the day and night find balance and are of equal length. In the Northern hemisphere, it marks the first day of Spring and represents rebirth and growth. It’s a time to celebrate the end of a cold Winter and let the balance of night and day, dark and light, inspire balance within you. It’s a perfect day to reconnect with life’s divine plan and to feel a deep connection to Self, Source and the natural world. Reflecting on your journey and honoring your intentions is a wonderful way to commemorate the Spring 🌷 Equinox.
In yoga, the number 108 is a representation of spiritual completion. It is viewed as a number of the wholeness and used in meditation and prayer throughout many cultures. This number also connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth: The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters.
At our Spring Mala 108 Sun Salutations we want to offer you a way of setting intentions for the new Spring season as you let go of Winter and honor your highest Self through a powerful 108 Sun Salutations practice.
What to expect at this event:
- An intention setting ceremony to help us honor and manifest our deepest wishes for the Spring season. ✨
- A 108 Sun Salutation led by the Yoga Guides of Lifted Lotus Yoga.
- A guided meditation created to help you let go of Winter and welcome Spring 🌷
Planning to attend?? Bring a water bottle, yoga mat and any props you may want to use. We can’t wait to welcome in the new season through contemplation, breath and movement with all of you! 💜🕉✨🌷 As always this is a donation based/free event but sign up is required as there is limited space.
