We are happy to host Professor Vanessa Wills for a spring lecture, entitled, "Loving (An)Other: Friendship in the Face of Scarcity and Competition.”Dr. Wills is Associate Professor of Philosophy at The George Washington University. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh and her Bachelor’s degree at Princeton University.
She is the author of Marx’s Ethical Vision (Oxford 2024) as well as many articles and book chapters. Dr. Wills is also a founding editor of Spectre Journal, a biannual journal of Marxist theory, strategy, and analysis.
The Lecture is free and open to the public and will include a question and answer period. An informal reception will follow at the home of Professor Michael Principe.
