About this Event

A one-day, in-person visibility experience in Manchester
26th March 10am-4pm Limited places
Stop waiting to be “ready” to pitch the media.
This spring, you’re getting featured.

Spring Into the Media is a powerful, hands-on, all-day experience designed to help you secure real media coverage, not someday, not “when things calm down”, but this spring and beyond.
This is not a passive workshop.
It’s not generic PR advice.
And it’s definitely not about chasing journalists blindly.

By the end of the day, you will leave with:
At least one pitch-ready media story
Five relevant media contacts to send it to
A clear understanding of what the media actually want right now
The confidence and clarity to pitch yourself properly, without overthinking
All guided through my proven Be Seen Method.

Who This Day Is For

This experience is designed for:

Founders, consultants, creatives and experts

Business owners who know they’re good at what they do, but struggle to talk about it

People who want press coverage but feel unsure how to start or what to say

Anyone tired of feeling overlooked, invisible or “not quite ready yet”

You don’t need a huge following.
You don’t need a PR agency on retainer.
You do need the right story, told the right way, at the right time.

What Makes This Day Different

You won’t just learn about the media.
You’ll create something tangible with expert support.

A Special Session with National & International Journalist Niamh Spence

One of the most powerful parts of the day will be a dedicated session with Niamh Spence, a journalist and communications specialist whose work has appeared across major UK and international publications including Grazia, Stylist, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Mirror, The Sun, LadBible, Tyla, UNILAD, Irish Star and many more.

Niamh works at the intersection of media, reputation and commercial growth, and brings a rare combination of editorial insight and communications expertise.

During the day, Niamh will:

Share what’s hot in the media right now

Explain which types of stories are landing (and why)

Reveal what journalists and editors actually want to hear

Break down what makes a story timely, credible and publishable

Help you understand why some pitches get picked up and others don’t

She will also host a live Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions directly from a journalist’s perspective, no guessing, no assumptions.

Niamh is particularly passionate about demystifying PR for founder-led and smaller businesses. She believes media coverage is not reserved for big brands with big budgets, but for those who approach it with clarity, substance and purpose.

In short: she knows what will make a story land and what will make it fall flat.

Hands-On Story Creation (Not Just Inspiration)

This isn’t a “take notes and figure it out later” kind of day.

Together, we will:

Identify your strongest angles

Shape your expertise into a media-ready story

Ensure it aligns with what journalists are looking for now

Refine your language so you stop downplaying your experience

You will leave with at least one fully formed story, ready to pitch immediately.

Media Contacts Included

To remove friction and procrastination, you’ll also be given:

Five relevant media contacts aligned to your story

No endless Googling.
No outdated lists.
No guessing who to email.

You’ll know exactly where to send your pitch and how.

The Be Seen Method (Your Framework for the Day)

Everything we do is guided by my Be Seen Method, a framework I’ve developed and refined over 25+ years in PR.

We’ll work through:

Begin – What you want to be known for

Evaluate – Where your story needs to be

Story – Creating connection, relevance and impact when identifying the story

Expectation – Knowing what you want visibility to lead to

Execute – Pitching with confidence and intention

Never Give Up – Following up, refining and building momentum

This is the same method I teach inside my courses, VIP days and the Global Visibility Club, adapted for a focused, in-person experience.
