Spring Into Design-Student Social

Join us for a student-led interior design social created by students, for students. This event is all about building connections with peers who understand the realities of design school the late nights, tight deadlines, and creative challenges we all face. You’ll have the opportunity to meet fellow students from different programs, practice introducing yourself, share ideas, and build relationships that can grow into friendships and future professional connections.

Unlike traditional networking events, this social focuses on community rather than pressure. It’s a space to connect casually and support one another without the intimidation that can sometimes come with professional settings. Our goal is to foster a healthy, collaborative student community where we can ask questions, share opportunities, celebrate creativity, and lift each other up. After all, we are the future of the industry—so let’s start building it together.

Info: Kick off the morning by checking in, grabbing some light bites, and connecting with fellow interior design students. This relaxed meet-and-greet is the perfect time to introduce yourself, start conversations, and ease into the event while enjoying a few refreshments before the activities begin.

Info: During this time, we’ll officially welcome everyone and share a brief overview of the event. We’ll introduce the planned activities, explain how each station works, and share the giveaways and opportunities available throughout the social so you don’t miss out on anything.

Info: Explore the showroom through a series of fun, interactive stations designed to help students connect, learn, and get creative. Participate in a Facets Scavenger Hunt, test your knowledge at The Price is Right: Trade Tips Edition, and enjoy friendly competition with giant games like Jenga and Connect Four. Students can also express their creativity at the Mood Board Making station, or break the ice with others through a Getting to Know You Bingo challenge. Each station offers a different way to engage, collaborate, and have fun while connecting with fellow interior design students.

Info: We’ll close out the event by gathering everyone together for a brief wrap-up. During this time, we’ll highlight key moments from the activities and share what exciting opportunities and events are coming up next for interior design students.
