About this Event
We are lucky to have a wide range of environmental and nature focused groups in Hexham. Come and say hello to a range of them in Hexham library, discover what they do and find out how you can help them.
Join us for a cuppa, some cake and a chat about how you can support the many projects across the town who plant on The Sele, create trails around the twon and connect gardeners to gardens and tools to willing hands. Find out how you can help monitor wildlife, encourage it to thrive or just learn more about why it matters to do both. Meet new friends, discuss your thoughts, help quell your climate anxiety or find facts on how you can take small steps to meaningful change in your every day activities that will help make Hexham a greener placce to live.
All the projects are looking to welcome new members or volunteers to join them - so if getting out and about more, meeting new people or discovering new skills and hobbies featured anywhere on your New Year's resolution list then this is the event you need to drop in on.
This event is part of the WinterTide project funded by Culture Nature and delivered by Hexham Library in partnership with Grow Hexham.
Play your part in nature’s recovery through Protected Site Strategies.
