Come get your hands in the soil with Joint Initiatives! ?Join us as we prepare the Galileo Middle School Garden for the upcoming growing season. It’s a great chance to connect with the community, enjoy some fresh air, and help create a space that will provide food and learning opportunities for local youth.
During the work day we’ll be:
Weeding and amending garden beds
Assembling new raised beds
Adding fresh compost to enrich the soil
Starting seeds in our greenhouse
Transplanting seedlings
Direct sowing cool-weather crops
Gloves and tools will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just curious to learn, we’d love to have you join us in growing something meaningful together. ?
