About this Event
Spring Forest Bathing
Forest bathing is a practice of slowing down to connect with nature. You will be led by your guide, Diana, through a series of mindfulness invitations to explore the many beings on our walk path. This practice was developed in Japan in the 1980’s and has been shown to have both physical and emotional benefits (reduced anxiety, lowered blood pressure, etc).
We generally cover less than a mile over a multi-hour period. The goal is not to get from point A to point B but to really connect with the present moment. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. We recommend bringing water and any snacks you may need.
There is limited parking and restrooms at or near the site so please plan accordingly. Exact location will be confirmed by email the day before the event so make sure to check your messages before you head out.
Please arrive about 5 minutes early to sign a liability waiver(this is required to attend).
