The blossoms will be blooming for our next painting experience with Mary Jane Erard. Mary Jane is an accomplished artist and educator in the Toledo area and we are so excited to be hosting a class for you all to come try! This course is a 3 hour session that will explore acrylic painting, with a focus on spring florals. Students can use their own photos or pictures provided in class. All supplies included
You will learn how:
- to manipulate acrylic on canvas to create a floral design
- how to layer color for maximum impact, and learn how color theory is employed in this technique.
- to create depth with color and bold strokes.
In addition to techniques, the class will learn from each other how each student approached their process to create a successful painting. Your instructor will demonstrate techniques prior to each student creating their own painting. As much help will be given as each student as needed.
Refunds allowed with minimum 72 hours notice. Transferrable only without 72 hours notice.
Minimum attendance required, subject to cancellations with full refunds.
