This event is open to youth ages 13–24.
Celebrate spring, connect with peers, and enjoy an evening outdoors at the Spring Fling!
Hosted by the City of Richmond and the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Department of Sustainable Agriculture, this event is all about having fun, spending time outside, and connecting with nature.
Enjoy snacks and take part in hands-on activities like seed bomb making and launching, creating cyanotype prints, and planting seeds to take home and start your own garden.
Important Event Details
Staff from youth-serving organizations in Richmond are welcome to attend alongside youth. Please note that all youth staff must register in advance.
For comfort and safety, avoid wearing heels, as parts of the farm have uneven ground. We also reccomend dressing warmly for this outdoor event and wearing closed-toe shoes.
There is no public parking onsite. We encourage walking, biking, or taking transit. Paid parking is available at the nearby KPU Richmond campus, please refer to the site map below for directions and transit options.
