Melanie Returns to Sussex as she does annually to visit us and share her love of balance through this Yin Yoga and Yoga flow ( yang) During this workshop you will be inspured to set intentions for Spring and embrace the newness of the season we have all been waiting for Spring.Whilst we gather in our South Street studio with herbal teas and the warmth of the suns rays , you will be welcomed with a herbal tea and a cleansing ritual . Followed by a relaxing meditation to ground and followed by journaling, Flow yoga and then the magical Yin . Wood is the element of Spring.
In Chinese Medicine theory, the wood element belongs to the spring season and its related meridian system pair is the Liver and Gall Bladder. Together, these organs are responsible for the smooth flow of qi and blood in the body and regulates emotions. They are our “first responder” channels to the stresses in our lives. The wood element teaches us about flexibility and adaptability.

Arrival with a herbal tea teas...
- Journaling to set intention for your Spring time
- One hour Yang flow, drawing on the idea of expansion from the earth, reflecting springtime’s growth
- Followed by a half hour yin and restorative practice with grounding shapes connected to the element of spring, wood, and its energetic lines. Ending with the intention you set.
- Seeds to take home and sow, to watch spring take effect at home.
