About this Event
The spring equinox symbolizes balance, renewal, and the awakening of life, as day and night return to equal lengths. As the days shift to having more light and length, a return to life is sparked. The spring equinox marks the end of winter's dormancy, symbolizing resurrection and fresh starts, often associated with the planting of seeds both in gardens and in personal life.
This workshop asks participants to create a vision board representing rebirth, light, and planting seeds as we enter a more alive period of the year. We will ask ourselves, how can we usher in feelings of hope and connection to what makes life feel purposeful, both on personal and community levels? In this workshop, participants will use collage images and other visual materials to create vision boards representing what matters to them and what values they want to keep moving towards in creating a meaningful, enlightened, and purposeful life.
This workshop is intended to be a therapeutic art experience rather than a therapy session, although it will be conducted by a registered art therapist.
