Meet the Practitioner: Melissa Felsenstein
Melissa Felsenstein, founder of Inner Sounds Meditation, is a seasoned sound practitioner with over a decade of experience. She pioneered one of the first 200-hour sound healing certification programs in 2019 and conducts in-person events throughout the West Coast, including Portland, Oregon, and the Bay Area.
In 2015, Melissa broadened the reach of sound healing with the introduction of custom corporate sound baths and has worked with major corporations like LinkedIn and Meta, as well as non-profits, hospitals, botanical gardens, gyms, libraries, universities, and police departments. Four years ago, she expanded her offerings to include an on-demand platform with extensive, high-fidelity sound baths available 24/7 and monthly virtual livestreams streamed live straight to your living room.
Melissa delights in offering sound as a therapeutic tool to re-learn how to consciously rest, open portals into meditative states, and create physical, mental, and emotional harmony. Melissa believes more sound infused naps will create a happier world.

Through utilizing sound as therapy, I was able to retrain my body and mind to rest and create new space to metabolize the traumatic experience of losing my father.
