Honoring the advent of Spring with a Mala Yoga practice.
This class is free and open to the public.
A Yoga Mala consist of 108 Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar A) and usually takes about an hour and a half. We will do four sets of 27, with a 5-10 minute rest between each set.
This practice is incredibly challenging, physically and mentally, but participants are encouraged to modify as often as needed (we plan to modify too!). And while this practice may challenge you, it will also inspire you.
A Mala Yoga is an offering with our breath and our bodies, so on this day we offer up a space for our intentions for spring to take root and blossom.
You can join this practice with the intention to journal, meditate, or simple rest in the sacred space. We will lift one another up with our presence.
Beyond worry, doubt, and judgment lies the Divine Self. The Mala Yoga practice guides us inward toward this space, where inspiration and vision for the spring season can be found.
Feel free to bring your mala beads, crystals, journals,
essential oils, or anything else that has meaning to you.
This is a free practice open to the community.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
