SPRING EQUINOX

Spring Equinox (in the northern hemisphere) is when the day and night are equal, before the light keeps growing.

In the Wheel of the Earth, Spring represents the first part of the expansive, outer focused or Yang Phase. As a transitional phase (from darkness to light), it can feel wobbly, while also carry joy and excitement.

In our Life Cycle this season mirrors our childhood years. The child with their playfulness, lightness, innocence, joy, and capacity to start anew.

It is a time of new life, balance and harmony.

The energies of Spring are Light, Fresh, Playful.

ABOUT THE CIRCLE

The Cacao Community Circle is held every 6 weeks, on the Sunday closest to the Solstices, Equinoxes & Cross-Quarters, with the intention of developing conscious awareness of the cyclical nature of life that takes place within and without us. Guided by the spirit of Cacao, and supported by conscious breathing and self inquiry, this space provides us with an opportunity to open our Heart and connect deeply within, without and with each other.

About Cacao

Cacao has the potential to heal, connect and open our hearts to our true essence. It is beneficial for everyone to have a practice involving cacao. Mayas, who inherited and have been stewarders of the wisdom and the tradition of cacao for millenia, have been guided by their ancestors to open and share their tradition of cacao globally, specifically in these times. Even if cacao has been considered sacred since ancient times, it is important to note that for the Maya there was no such thing as a cacao ceremony.

Within a sacred space that honors, celebrates and invites awareness to the change of seasons within and without us, we will share a cup of cacao in community while Veronica & Jorge share what they have learned about Cacao through their own research and by studying with Mayan elders.

About Breathwork

This is a tool and healing modality that uses the breath to help us dissolve the protective layers around the heart, release emotional blockages and reconnect us with the deepest source of healing—Love.

We share this practice as taught by David Elliott: as a spiritual practice rooted in the concept that Love is the most powerful force for healing. More info here.

Holding Space

Together, and create a trauma informed container that stems from Love, is held with integrity, rooted on their commitment to their own healing journey and informed by their professional experience & practice.

They will support you in the preparation, integration and aftercare.
