This is a two day event Saturday and Sunday 1pm-5pm both days.A follow on from the Autumn Equinox we will take a deeper look at the Tides of Power in the Seasons and in Nature and how we can harness these to our advantage and for increased vitality.
We will be foraging together and looking for Spring medicines from the landscape. We'll also consider the traditional uses and folklore of some of the seasonal plants around.
Participants will be invited to take part in a dreamwork exercise and to feedback.
Day two will be more Medicine Making. Making remedies to help us through the coming change in season. We will tailor our medicine making to the plants that are present around us, but expect to take home three remedies, which may be tincture, vinegar, tea or salve/cream based.
You will learn a practice to aid journalling your own experiences in connecting with plants in nature and in dreams and also a practical method of learning about medicinal plants.
A booklet will be provided in practical home remedies with recipes and there will be a feedback email containing follow up recipes from our medicine making session on the Sunday.
Cost for both days will be £120 (however there are two subsidised spaces available at 50% so please get in touch if you would like to apply for one of these places)
Due to the format of this event, it is necessary to participate in both days.
An email will be sent out in advance of the event inviting participants to bring with them a story/poem/song or experience of a medicinal plant and also an offering from Nature for our Nature table.
