Enjoy the dawning of a new spring as we hike through Leonard Springs, admiring the first flowering ephemerals! Lasting a very short time, this group of flowers brings the first nectar to our emerging pollinators, and restores the promise of a new season. We will discuss the folklore behind many of the names as we reconnect with the greening forest. Please wear sturdy shoes comfortable for hiking. Participants must be able to go up and down 100 stairs.
