About this Event
Take a guided tour with curandero Jesús Cuauhtémoc Villa to learn about the wide variety of edible and medicinal plants native to our beautiful Sonoran Desert! Students will learn about the traditional uses of native plants for holistic health and well-being in the South Mountain Park and Preserve. The trail is an easy walk/hike, but water bottles and comfortable shoes & clothing are strongly encouraged; materials for note taking are welcome, as are learners of all levels! Class is free and open to community, but donations are gratefully accepted.
