Haydn’s joyful Theresienmesse and Britten’s vibrant Rejoice in the Lamb come together in a programme celebrating imagination, energy, and choral colour. From the Classical brilliance and warmth of Haydn’s late Mass to the rhythmic vitality and expressive originality of Britten’s 20th-century masterpiece, the concert offers a rich and engaging contrast of styles. The Choral Society is joined by professional soloists, accompanist and conducted by Musical Director John Powell.
