Take a stroll down Broadway with the Pembroke Community Choir. Listen to the iconic songs from the musicals that have captured the hearts and imaginations of generations of theatregoers.“Broadway Revue” will feature music from the early days, the Golden Years of the fifties and sixties, the Political ‘70s, the Disney adaptations of the 1990s, as well as more recent years. The choir will entertain the audience with selections from “ Pirates of Penzance”, “The Sound of Music”, “Evita”,” The Lion King”, “Rent”, “Wicked” and many more!
Choir Director Gerald LaRonde has prepared a programme that will showcase the talents of soloists and small groups drawn directly from the choir membership. He has also arranged for support from local musicians to help the singers keep the energy high. On piano, Darlene TerMarsch will demonstrate her considerable skill and versatility.
