🌺 East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra welcomes the change in seasons with its Spring Concert Sunday, April 19, 6:30 p.m., at The Commons (4950 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale). Performances include Samuel Vargas premiere of Symphonic Rhapsody, Amy Beach, Romance for violin and orchestra (with Cameron Wilcox on violin), and Charles Villiers Stanford - Symphony No. 7 in D minor, op 124. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
This year, the ETSO celebrates its 20th Anniversary of Symphonic Excellence in Collegedale and the Tennessee Valley, having performed alongside a number of prolific bands and musical acts, to include: the Firework Finale during the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Hamilton County Fairs, its Christmas Concert with the Annie Moses Band for two years in a row, an unforgettable performance with the Grammy award-winning Ricky Skaggs, and many more events with talented local and regional musicians.
