In the spring and fall of each year, Sycamore Township opens the composting site located behind Hartzell United Methodist Church located at 8999 Applewood Drive for the distribution of wood chips and leaf compost that has been collected by our road crews throughout the year. Well received by local gardeners, it is available to Township and non-Township residents alike.Township Maintenance personnel will be present to assist in the loading of the materials and will be monitoring and limiting quantities. No semi trucks permitted.
